The Nun Study: Wise Woman Turns 100
Educators to the End

One participant of the Nun Study recently celebrated her 100th birthday: S. Anne Mayer, SSND, was born on November 12, 1905. She has been an educator, promoter of peace, spokesperson for women and children: she has written the history of the Academy of Our Lady at Longwood in Chicago. Her insight and challenging questions have brought depth and energy to SSND discussions. Share some of her wisdom in an interview with S. Maureen Clancy in 1993 and during her celebration on November 12, 2005 by clicking at the right.
